WORSHIP GROUP
The musicians within the group play piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums and sometimes clarinet or harp.
Singers use microphones and can therefore provide a strong lead for the congregation to follow, particularly useful when teaching new material.
Worship Group at the Christingle
They meet to practice on alternate Fridays at 6.30pm.
Young Singers are separately coached and they are encouraged and given the opportunity to participate at specific services.
ORGANIST
We have the assistance of a part-time organist who is usually available to us twice a month.
BOOK STALL
A Book Stall is run by a dedicated church member, where new books and cards are displayed on sale or return from the local Christian book shop. (Choice Words)
BELLS
St. Mary Magdalene tower has 8 bells and is popular with ringers. We have an enthusiastic team which includes members from our own church and an excellent teacher and Tower Captain. Our aim is to have a home team of ringers able to ring each Sunday morning. Practice night is on Thursday evening at 7.30pm

FLOWER & BRASS CLEANING
There is a dedicated team who work hard to keep the flower displays and the brass in sparkling condition.
It is very much appreciated to see the church building given a burst of colour.
Donations can be given towards having a pedestal of flowers dedicated to the memory of a loved one.
LADIES’ LINK
This group of ladies meet in the church hall socially on the second Monday in the month. A programme of meetings and events is available with something to interest everyone.
PASTORAL CARE SCHEME
A scheme has been put in place since the beginning of the interregnum to cover pastorally every member on the electoral roll. This is the responsibility of the ministry team and PCC officers who each have in their care approximately 10 members, whom they should watch out for and support or visit if needed. Keeping in contact with the vulnerable and lonely or depressed is essential and we intend to make it a high priority in the church.
